SONG PICK: The Nectars – Heaven
As much as I like subtle, restrained electronic music, I enjoy also the ultimate satisfaction that only a true rock song can give, one that washes over you with the force of a six-foot breaking wave. “Heaven” by the New Jersey four-piece The Nectars is such a track. And Jessica Kenny (vocals), Mikey Montalbano (drums), Jon Paul (bass, keys) and Mike Baron (guitar) surly know how to do a good live show, so we’re happy to announce that The Nectars will play our February showcase at The Delancey in NYC.
