SONG PICK: Fast Car To Florence – Hypnotise You
Fast Car To Florence holds a lot of promise, from the band name alone. When the opening bars to “Hypnotise You” begin, the song’s title is already happening because the track totally takes us under its spell. “Hypnotise You” is bright, pulsating, guitar driven Brit pop at its best, complete with stellar vocals and irresistible hooks. With all elements of a hit single, “Hypnotise You” should be put on every (party) playlist and consequently charting in no time. And there is supposedly more where this came from, with “Hypnotise Me” being the lead single from Fast Car To Florence’s soon to be released debut EP.
