SONG PICK: Elan Noon – Blue
Restrained arrangements work for indie electronic music as well as they do for singer/songwriter fare. “Blue” by Elan Noon, from Victoria, British Columbia, is an especially beautiful example for a minimalistic yet totally enchanting production. This latest song by Keenan Mittag-Degala, the musician behind the moniker Elan Noon, invites us to dream, to let our thoughts flow like leaves on a river or a helium filled balloon let loose.
