Listen to the debut single of London-based musician Sarah Moir, who records simply as Moir. With the “The Truth Is” and other songs of her upcoming EP Sarah addresses deep personal experiences: “I say that talking’s not really my thing / But the truth is there’s no one / I’ve pushed them away, and they’ve gone”. Musically the track is an elegant blend of acoustic and electronic elements that remain restrained throughout the song to let Sarah’s vocals come to full effect. More music by her is expected soon with the full EP being slated for a February release.
