SONG PICK: Blakk Pearl – Cowboy

French/English singer/songwriter Blakk Pearl revives the romantic image of cowboys in her debut single, which musically could not be farther away from the Wild West. Aside from the violin in the end, “Cowboy” is a sophisticated, slow burning trip hop track and better at home in London. Blakk Pearl has an EP in the works for release in early 2018 – then we learn hopefully more about her.
