SONG PICK: Holy Motors – Honeymooning
Listening to the quietly gorgeous “Honeymooning”, visual fragments of 60s Western classics come to mind for which this super laid-back, beautifully wistful song would make the perfect soundtrack. “Honeymooning” is the first single and opening track of Holy Motors‘ upcoming debut album “Slow Sundown”. The shoegaze and psychedelic rock influenced band is based in Estonia and it is surprising how much restraint they show on the enigmatic “Honeymoon”. Their full length album “Slow Sundown” will be out on 2/9/18 on Wharf Cat Records and definitely something to look forward to in the new year.
