SONG PREMIERE: Late Guest At The Party – Add It Up

“Add It Up” is an irresistible, unabashedly optimistic slice of glorious electro pop. The track could be a dance floor hit in the hottest clubs from London to Ibiza or Athens and back to New York, where the song originated. “Add It Up” is the latest single by Brooklyn via Rimini, Italy four-piece Late Guest At The Party, and we are super excited to premiere it today.

We wanted to know more about the catchy track and asked lead singer and lyricist Beth to give us more insight:

To​ ​her,​ ​“Add​ ​It​ ​Up”​ ​has​ ​the​ ​happiest​ ​lyrics she’s​ ​written,​ ​yet​ ​it​ ​opens​ ​up​ ​an​ ​argument we​ ​might​ ​have​ ​with​ ​the​ ​one​ ​we​ ​love.​ ​It doesn’t​ ​matter​ ​what​ ​you’re​ ​fighting​ ​about,​ ​and​ ​in​ ​the​ ​scope​ ​of​ ​your​ ​relationship,​ ​there​ ​are​ ​worse​ ​things.​ ​But​ ​you care​ ​about​ ​them​ ​and​ ​you’re​ ​trying​ ​to​ ​make​ ​that​ ​clear​ ​when​ ​it’s​ ​sometimes​ ​not​ ​the​ ​case.​ ​Imagine​ ​all​ ​of​ ​the​ ​lyrics being​ ​said​ ​with​ ​a​ ​cheeky​ ​grin;​ ​all​ ​the​ ​self​ ​deprecation​ ​is​ ​for​ ​a​ ​laugh.​ ​
