Countless hours of preparation go into putting a live show together and this was no different for the one we curated and hosted together with our friends at AudioFemme. On Saturday, June 10 doors opened at noon at the legendary Knitting Factory to welcome music lovers to our Official Northside Festival Showcase.

6 bands in 5 hours with only 15 minutes between each set. Major kudos to all involved for having run on schedule, so much professionalism all around. And while there was a snafu with the light system and the background (no Knitting Factory logo), none of this bothered neither festival-goers nor the musicians involved and we could enjoy a great variety of styles, ranging from indie-electronic and electro-pop to shoegaze, electronic-tinged Americana and soulful folk pop.
