PHOTOS: glamglare presents: Danielle Cardona, Saint Slumber, Cecilie Maria, Mars Motel Live @ The Delancey
Indie rock night at The Delancey: four local acts brought exciting and fresh music as well as a good dose of glamour to the party.
First up was the debut show of Mars Motel, the new project of Twin Wave guitarist Sarik Kumar who also takes on vocal duties. Mars Motel play melodic, powerful rock songs and had the audience on their fingertips. Watch out for their material in recorded form later this year.
They were followed by Cecilie Maria’s return to the glamglare stage: this time, Cecilie left the bass at home and put on a glittery suit for even more rock star vibes. She was accompanied by guitarist Frederico Suarez.
Next on, Saint Slumber’s, a compelling indie rock trio and four-piece live, who presented their new fabulous EP “Youth//1” (Apple Music | Spotify).
The grand finale provided once more Danielle Cardona, also all dressed in glitter, who entertained and dazzled with her catchy pop songs.
