Exploring new music and featuring what truly sticks is not a sprint and while “Fear” by Idaho-based singer/songwriter Apsley got released a good month ago, it is as fresh and beautiful as it was then. I totally dig Apsley’s bright and pop-tinged vocals and this track’s beautiful flow and irresistible melody.
Apsley reveals about this new single: “Fear is the third track I’ve released under my solo project. The song speaks of the lies that bind us in our mind. We can become paralyzed by the fear of losing the things we value the most in life, as if our value is not in us but in the things around us. It’s so easy for us to entertain these lies and when we do our life becomes run by fear. I believe until we let go of fear we cannot truly enjoy life or love.” Fully subscribe to that sentiment!
