SONG PICK: Overcoats – Hold Me Close
The New York duo Overcoats was one of the most exciting discoveries for me at last year’s SXSW festival. Back then they had only a few songs on a hand-made CD. Now they have finally announced their highly anticipated debut album, “Young” due out April 21 on Arts & Crafts. Our Song Pick of the Day, “Hold Me Close” is the first single showing their signature mix of folksy harmonies with subtle electronics and ambiguous lyrics.
