On November 17, five New York based acts took the stage at Lower East Side’s The Delancey and it was a fantastic mix of New York debuts and (new) performances of popular local acts. Cecilie Maria, hailing from Denmark and having left her band behind, got the party going by playing new fierce rock songs together with guitarist Andrea Caccese. Another New York debut followed with Lillet Blanc, who moved here from Boston and delighted the audience with their guitar-driven dream pop. Next up were Rockaway Beach’s psychadelic rockers Blac Rabbit who make new fans everywhere with their mesmerizing sound. From upstate New York came the trio of brothers Council, playing catchy pop rock. Wrapping an exciting evening up in the best way possible was Brooklyn darling Danielle Cardona whose positive energy was infectious and her beautifully catchy songs were a joy in itself. Everybody was having a truly great time.
