“Kite Dodging”, by Mid-Western surf rock quartet The Hazy Seas, seems to be made for all of us who can not make it to the beach and experience Summer bliss first hand. The shimmering surf rock guitars make the glittering sun spots on top of the waves come sonically alive and help forget that we’re not actually there! “Kite Dodging”  is not all happy, sunny, breezy feel though. There’s a sequence in the song, that matches some dark grey clouds haste by. In the end though, things seem to be fine and all we want is to hit ‘play’ again and… again!
