The sound of N-A-I-V-E-S screams Summer, in all its variations and incarnations: hot, sticky (aka infectious), sunny, glamorous, lush, happy, upbeat… One is quick to think that this three piece originates from sunny California or maybe Australia or at the very least South of something… yet Marc Jacc (vocals, multiple instruments), Lapo Frost (bass) and Benji Huntrods (drums) are based in East London and some band members have French roots.

N-A-I-V-E-S  mix hook laden synths with big tropical drum beats and with their latest single “Fashion Pineapple” they push the possibilities even a little further.  “Fashion Pineapple” is an upbeat, playful track that pulls different synths registers, over driving, powerful drum and bass lines and then there are these really cheerful tenor/falsetto vocals. And when Mark Jacc chimes “I have to go” we wish he’d stay a while because this song is just so good!
