SONG PICK: Wiyaala – Peace
Ghanaian singer Wiyaala sings in Sissala, but her message is universal: ”Peace”. And the music, an energetic blend of African melodies and dance music electronics, makes you wants you to go out on the street and laugh violence and destruction in the face. Wiyaala is a star in her home country and sets out to play the WOMAD festival this year.
