This is a beautiful, gripping track about a situation most people have to deal with at some point in their lives: Rachel Eff, singer of the new, bicoastal duo Elizabritz sings a about coping with loss and how hard it is to escape. Swelling violins add drama as she battles with herself. But there is always hope: “If I get out of this alive / Promise you’ll stay by my side” she sings as the song fades out.
