NEW EP: The Naked Eye EP
Music has the unique ability to transport you through space and time and “The Naked Eye EP”, the debut of the eponymous project around the London-based singer Frenchie, is particularly good at that. I close my eyes and find myself at a sophisticated garden party, on the early evening in a state of pleasant relaxation.
Much of that comes from the undeniably a jazzy retro feeling of “The Naked Eye”. On the surface, that is. When you listen closer, you find a production with very contemporary electronics and beats beneath Frenchie’s silky vocals. The more you listen, the more surprises you will find.
