FIRST LISTEN: Purity Ring - another eternity

On their first album Shrines, Purity Ring avoided spaces between words. On their follow another eternity up they kill capital letters. That seems a little silly to me, but their music is not – it’s first class electronic pop music. I like Megan James’ voice even more than I remember from the last record and fortunately, they keep the voice processing gimmickry at a minimum. The album goes sometimes close to fist-pumping EDM territory and that may explain that they upgraded their New York show to Terminal 5, which they sold out at least one time. Good for them, but they are now officially above our radar.
