New Artist: Ava Lake
Ava Lake is 18 years old and hails from Chicago. Much more is not to find out about this young artist at this time. But there are a few songs on her Soundcloud that reveal two more facts about Ava Lake: she possesses a great voice that reminds me of Zola Jesus at times, yet with a good deal more soulfulness. And she writes upbeat, piano-driven electro-pop songs, like the bouncy I Can See You Later, which was inspired by an awkward moment in her dorm.
More music is coming, promises Ava Lake, and I’m looking very much forward to it.
