3 Is A Band: Lazyeyes

There’s nothing idle about Lazyeyes‘ upcoming months: they seem determined to make 2015 their year! Having been founded in the Summer of 2012, and having released their first EP only a couple of months later in January 2013, the three piece from Brooklyn just released their second EP titled New Year. The EP release party, roughly two weeks ago, headlining a show at Baby’s All Right, must have been a not-to-be-missed event, yet I did due to scheduling conflicts aka too late in the evening.

Luckily for me though, and anybody else who digs the Lazyeyes’ dreamy, guitar driven pop, Jason Abrishami (vocals), Paul Volpe (bass) and Jeremy Sampso (drums) will play live a lot. There are shows scheduled in the Tri-State area (check out Night Bazar on January 31st for example) but also shows at this year’s South By South West and a tour is in the making as well.

In the meantime, listen to Lazyeyes’  latest dream pop and shoegaze infused songs and stay connected on Facebook and/or Twitter.  If you have time for only ONE song, check out Windowsill, the moodiest, lushest and coolest of them all.
