Iceland Airwaves, Iceland’s famous music festival, is about to start the day after tomorrow. From Wednesday, November 2nd to Sunday, November 6th, more than 220 musicians are scheduled to play at official Iceland Airwaves venues (schedule here) and so-called off-venues (schedule here) and more than 9,000 visitors are being expected.

Let’s have a look at sixteen INTERNATIONAL solo-artists and bands we are especially looking forward to seeing live. Some we’ve seen before, and consider ourselves fans.
