Here’s an industrial track by a London producer who goes by the name ZYXZ. Is not easy listening, but I like how noise comes together to create melody and rhythm: it reminds me on the Australian industrial punk pioneers SPK.

Song Pick of the Day: Rachel Thomasin – Reveries

Today’s Song Pick of the Day is from Boston singer/songwriter Rachel Thomasin’s debut album Constellations. She does generally upbeat electropop with an edge – Imogen Heap comes to mind. I like the second track Reveries, which features a cool bass line, which comes to surface in unexpected moments.
