THROWBACK: Howard Jones – What Is Love
In preparation for this segment, I find myself doing exactly what I’ve been doing 32 years ago: listening to What Is Love on repeat. For the fourth time by now, to be precise. For me, it has not lost it’s luster and the theme of the song is timeless anyway. We all might have found our individual answers, temporary or long lasting yet it’s an universal truth that love comes in many different shapes and forms.
The video features Howard Jones walking around “the city of love”, Paris that is. We see a few different facets of “love” for which Paris provides an atmospheric backdrop. The song What Is Love was the second single released from Howard Jones’ debut album Human’s Lib and peaked at #2 in the UK charts and at #33 at the Billboard charts.
