Music for the Ocean: Asura – Life^2
We’ll spend a lot of time at sea over the holidays, so I was thinking about music with a nautical theme. Turns out, there’s nothing among my favorites. So I chose a record which I find ideal for looking at the ocean: Asura’s Life^2, released in 2007.
Asura is a French duo specializing in ambient, cinematic electronic music. Life^2, their third album, gives you – like the ocean – a feeling for the grandness of the space in which we are living. Personally I find this very expiring and relaxing. Give it a try:
